#5) Pioneer Farms Haunted Halloween

Address: JOURDAN-BACHMAN PIONEER FARMS, 10621 PIONEER FARMS DRIVE , AUSTIN, TEXAS, 78754

Pioneer Farms is Central Texas’ premier living history park and museum. They have adventure sites and programs to explore the past and to discover the future. But it’s in October that the Halloween magic comes to life. This year they have chosen as their theme, Victorian Gothic, which all comes to life every weekend in October. Haunted trails never looked so terrifying as the ones you will walk, in the dark of night, with ‘things’ out there waiting for you.

There is much to see, do, taste, touch, listen to, scare, hide and/or run from that will all be crammed into those magical 31 days of October. Come for the scare and stay for whatever else you love to do! And you never know, you might just see Frankenstein hanging around Pioneer Farms during the festival. Be sure to look for their special presentations too, which bring to life real ghost stories and paranormal events from real live paranormal investigators. You wouldn’t want to miss the ghosts now, would you?

#2) Scream Hollow

Grab your jumpiest friends and head on out to Scream Hollow, where you’ll find four haunted houses, 18 buildings and 20 acres of screams! This very unique experience will have you talking about it for weeks to come. Attractions include Mansion of Terror Phantoms, which was once known as Adella’s orphanage. Adella delved into black magic and no one was sure of what went on behind those closed doors. For decades it was abandoned, and some say it is cursed. Walk around and see what you think! Or you might like The Zombie City Factory, where this once proud place descended into madness, where the villagers became nothing more than mindless creatures . . . hungry for their next meal of human flesh. Can you keep away from them?

For those of you who think you’re strong, try out Wicked Darkness, The Maze. Enter the Maze and see what waits for you there. Because there are some places which are hotbeds of the paranormal and this is one of them. Sinister and demonic is what you’ll find here, known only as “wicked darkness”. Lastly, the New Slaughterhouse – Virgil’s Last Laff is the ultimate in evil clowns. They fear nothing, until now. Something is making them run for their lives . . . will you find out what?

Darkest Dreams is where you transcend into a dream world of terror that will scare you even if you think you can’t be scared.
