Las Vegas is a place known for around the clock gambling, high temperatures, and great shows. Las Vegas has far more to offer visitors and locals than just the Vegas Strip and all of the amazing casinos and shows, there are also other venues that the braver and more adventurous souls visit. Those venues have all had claims of paranormal activity.

10. Westgate Las Vegas

Anyone making their way to Las Vegas would be doing themselves a disservice if they did not visit one site where Elvis was a fixture. Despite the fact he has passed away there are many people that believe it was all a ruse and he is still alive. Others believe that he continues to make his presence known at the Westgate. Prior to becoming the Westgate, this hotel was also known as the Las Vegas Hilton and the International. For seven years, starting in 1969, Elvis spent a tremendous amount of time there entertaining his fans. He not only set records there, he broke them and reset them! There are many people that believe his spirit still wanders around the Westgate. Claims have been made by many that he hangs out in the showroom. People also claim to have heard, seen, or even sensed him, other places in the hotel as well.

9. Bonnie Springs Ranch

Bonnie Springs Ranch is considered one of the most haunted places in Las Vegas. It was first established in 1843 as a stopover for settlers making their way to California via the Old Spanish Trail. Settlers were not the only people that were in or around Bonnie Springs Ranch; there were also Native Americans that lived in the area. Bonnie Springs Ranch has garnered the attention of the average person curious about ghost, but it also gained the attention of the crew of “Ghost Adventures,” from the Travel Channel. The crew members of that show experienced the feeling of someone being with them when in otherwise empty rooms. They also heard unexplainable sounds and footsteps that did not belong to any of them. Their experiences echo those of other people who have visited the location.

8. Foxridge Park

Most people enjoy going to parks. Anyone thinking of going to the Foxridge Park, especially late at night, might want to reconsider. Stories claim that a young boy was killed by a drunk driver. Since his apparent death the boy returns to the park to play on the swing sets. The best time to see the spirit of this young boy on the swings is midnight. Before considering seeing this young boy, take into consideration that many people who have seen him claim if you try to approach him his eyes change and many feel he becomes possessed by a demon. After the transformation he simply disappears. If the boy’s spirit does not appear the swings will start moving on their own.

7. Circus Circus

The iconic Circus Circus opened in 1968 in Las Vegas. Since its opening it has become one of the most famous hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. People from around the world have come to visit the famous Circus Circus since it opened its doors. The history of Circus Circus is filled with far more than guests who enjoyed visiting the location. It is also the location of many different murders. Paranormal activity claims include seeing the words “Help Me” in a mirror in one of the rooms; other people have heard someone screaming those same words. The ghosts of a woman and her young son have also been spotted wandering the hotel and heard in room 123. Room 123 is where the mother killed her son then herself. The ghosts of three people supposedly killed in the kitchen have also been spotted.

6. Little Choo Choo Daycare

Most people would think that a daycare would be a happy place. Sadly, the Little Choo Choo Daycare has a tragic history. Reports state that one of the teachers that worked at the daycare center committed suicide. If that was not enough of a tragedy, the Daycare had a toy train on the premises. According to stories, a young boy somehow became attached to the train and he was drug to his death. Additional records show the Daycare center was torn down with another building built in its place. People still say at times they can see the ghost of a little boy digging in the dirt on the property that once housed the Daycare. Other people stated they have seen the ghostly figure of a woman who vanishes quickly when spotted.

5. The Sandhill & Charleston Tunnels

When there is excessive rain there needs to be somewhere for it to go. The powers that be in Las Vegas decided that the area near Sandhill Road and Charleston Boulevard was an excellent place for flood control tunnels. It was not until recent years that people have made claims of the flood tunnels being one of the haunted places in Las Vegas.  Records show that a young couple on a motorcycle died at the flood tunnels and never left. People who have ventured to the tunnels say they have heard whispering voices. With homeless people building homes in and around the tunnels other ghosts and unusual sounds have been experienced.

4. The Old Liberace Museum

Liberace was a flamboyant personality and an incredibly personality. The museum named after him was built in 1979 at the Tropicana. The museum is a popular tourist attraction not only for being the home to countless stage costumes Liberace wore in his lifetime, some of his pianos and other pieces he owed, but also because of reported hauntings of the location. When the museum underwent a number of renovations there was a shadowy figure that appeared to watch over all of the changes. It was almost as if the ghost wanted to make sure nothing was damaged or stolen. The dressing room is another area where people have experienced sightings of the figure. Employees and others have also spotted the figure they believe to be Liberace’s sister-in-law in the museum. In addition, people have spied Liberace’s ghost at Carluccio’s restaurant, which is close to the museum.

3. The Las Vegas Academy

At one time the Las Vegas Academy was the Las Vegas High School. Through the years many claims have been made about mysterious happenings at the school. It is believed that a man named Mr. Petri haunts the academy. Who the man was remains a mystery. The fact remains many stories have been passed down through the years that strange noises can be heard when rehearsals in the theater go late into the night. People have also claimed things have flown off the walls and there is an overall uneasy or even creepy feeling in the theater. Another story related to the Academy relates to the spirit of a young piano player who died as a teenager. People say his spirit will spontaneously start playing the piano in the Academy’s theater.

2. Dell H Robison Middle School

The Dell H. Robison Middle School is said to be one of the creepiest haunted places in Las Vegas. Imagine being the new kid at a middle school. Life is hard being the new kid, but nothing can prepare anyone for what has haunted many new students to the school. Many students claim that a ghost haunts the Middle School. No one knows what happened to the ghost in his life they only thing that has been determined is that the man is a janitor. As the stories go, if you are among the new students in attendance at Dell H. Robison Middle School and see the ghost of this janitor he will start haunting you. Apparently the creepy apparition has bloody hands and even follows the students to their homes. Some students have claimed he haunts their dreams. The only reported way to stop the haunting by the janitor is to attend church. Even people who are not religious would make their way to a church service to get rid of ghost of this scary janitor.

1. Redd Foxx's House

Redd Foxx was an incredible comedian. Despite finding success on the Las Vegas Strip and his television show, Sanford and Son, he had issues with debt. Upon passing away his home was put up for sale by the IRS. Ever the jokester, the new owner of the home said Redd Foxx’s spirit never left. The home owner made claims of doors opening and closing at will as well as sudden cold spots in the home. The lights in Foxx’s former home were also switched on and off randomly although no living person touched them. When the new owner moved out as living with the ghost of even a famous comedian was more than they could handle, the house was transformed into a business property. With that came sightings of Redd Foxx’s ghost as well as claims that he played pranks on the women that worked in the building. It was also stated that Redd Foxx also liked to tease the women that worked in the building as well.
