EXCLUSIVE HAUNTED ROOMS AMERICA EVENT – LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!
Are YOU brave enough to spend the night where Revolutionary War heroes made their last stand and Civil War prisoners died in agony? Join us for an UNFORGETTABLE paranormal investigation at the legendary Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia – the 18th-century fortress where the spirits of fallen soldiers, executed prisoners, and tormented souls REFUSE to stand down!
FROM REVOLUTIONARY BATTLEFIELD TO SUPERNATURAL STRONGHOLD!
Step into the BLOOD-SOAKED history of America’s most crucial military fort, where the ghosts of three centuries of warfare continue their eternal patrol! Commissioned in 1771 on desolate Mud Island in the Delaware River, Fort Mifflin earned its legendary nickname “The Fort That Saved America” when a small garrison of 400 freezing, starving American soldiers held off 250 British warships for six brutal weeks in 1777!
Against IMPOSSIBLE ODDS, these brave defenders endured the greatest bombardment of the Revolutionary War – with reports of 1,000 cannonballs fired at the fort in just ONE HOUR! Nearly 70 percent of the garrison was killed or wounded, their blood soaking into the mud and stone. The survivors set the fort ablaze and escaped across the Delaware under cover of darkness, but their sacrifice gave George Washington time to reach Valley Forge and ultimately WIN THE WAR!
But the HORROR didn’t end with the Revolution! During the Civil War, Fort Mifflin was converted into a NIGHTMARE prison where Confederate POWs, Union deserters, and civilians were crammed into damp, poorly-ventilated casemates. Disease ran rampant. Men died by the dozens. And on August 26, 1864, the fort’s only execution took place when Union Private William H. Howe was hanged – quite possibly INNOCENT of the crimes he was accused of committing!
With at least 26 CONFIRMED DEATHS within its walls (and countless more lost to history when records burned), Fort Mifflin has become one of the most paranormally active locations in America – a fortress where the spirits of soldiers, prisoners, and the innocent refuse to abandon their posts!
MEET THE FORT’S ETERNAL GARRISON!
The ghosts of Fort Mifflin aren’t just ANY spirits – they’re the tormented souls of America’s most brutal battlefield, where patriotism, imprisonment, and injustice created a SUPERNATURAL POWDER KEG!
THE FACELESS MAN – The most TERRIFYING entity at Fort Mifflin! This hunched figure sits in the darkness of Casemate No. 5, diligently sewing in solitude. When witnesses approach, he slowly raises his head to reveal his most horrifying feature – HE HAS NO FACE! Many believe this tortured soul is William H. Howe, the Union private executed at the fort with a hood over his head. His spirit relives his final moments, forever trapped in the cell where he awaited his unjust death!
THE SCREAMING WOMAN – Blood-curdling shrieks echo from the Officers’ Quarters with such intensity that police have been called to investigate! This anguished spirit is believed to be Elizabeth Pratt, whose two young children both died of yellow fever within one year while stationed at the fort with her Army sergeant husband. Elizabeth herself succumbed to the disease shortly after. Her maternal agony transcends death, and her screams of grief pierce the night air even today!
THE GHOSTLY TOUR GUIDE – A friendly, sociable spirit dressed in full Revolutionary War attire who roams the Powder Magazine offering detailed tours and answering guests’ questions with historical accuracy! Visitors have engaged in FULL CONVERSATIONS with this knowledgeable soldier before realizing he vanishes without a trace – because he died over 200 years ago!
THE LAMPLIGHTER – Joseph Adkins continues his eternal duty, carrying an oil-burning lamp through the darkness of the Soldier’s Barracks even though the fort has been electrified for over a century! This dedicated spirit refuses to let modern conveniences interrupt his nightly rounds!
JACOB THE BLACKSMITH – This stubborn craftsman STILL argues with his long-dead commandant! The sound of hammer striking anvil echoes from the Blacksmith Shop at all hours, stopping only when someone investigates. Doors and windows slam open and closed on their own as Jacob insists on proper ventilation for his eternal forge!
THE SAD-LOOKING MAN – A solitary figure walks slowly down the road toward the fort’s gate, his face etched with unbearable sorrow. Upon reaching the gate, he vanishes into thin air, forever denied entry to the peace he seeks!
LITTLE AMANDA – A child’s spirit haunts the Artillery Shed, her playful presence a stark contrast to the violence that surrounds her. Who was this young girl, and why does she remain in a place of such death?
EDWARD THE SICKLY SOLDIER – This dying man haunts the Hospital, coughing and wheezing as disease ravages his spectral form. Witnesses report feeling overwhelming chest tightness and stabbing pains in his presence!

Did the Battleship North Carolina on April 3rd. I've already booked again for August. The hosts (Both physical and spiritual) were amazing. Recorded several EVP's throughout the night. Some very strong responses with dousing rods. Always skeptical about them, but there were strong responses, especially when we started talking to them like the military members they were. At one point I asked if they wished they had women on Battleships, he replied with a strong "Yes" and my Ghost Box replied with the word "Seductive". He really liked one of the young ladies with us. Turns out she was 18 and he was 20 when he died. Can't wait to do this again!
Just did a tour with this group on the Battleship North Carolina. Absolutely wonderful experience!! My husband and I will definitely be booking again. The leaders are super nice, respectful, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!!
Just finished our VIP overnight at Hotel Metropolitan in Paducah! Ms. Venita and Julie were the absolute best! They both made sure we knew what we were doing with equipment, and gave us a fantastic guided tour and explained the history so well. Venita especially made an impression on my group. She is super friendly and definitely knows what she's doing. Can't wait to see her again! I wouldn't want anyone else!
My dad, my sister-in-law, and I stayed at The Metropolitan for a paranormal investigation, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of history — but what made our stay exceptional was the incredible staff, Julie and Venita. These two amazing women went above and beyond the entire time we were there. They walked us through all the investigation equipment, helped guide us throughout the night, and made us feel completely comfortable and right at home. Their hospitality was top-notch — from the snacks and drinks they provided to the delicious hot chocolate they made for us during our late-night exploring. Their kindness, patience, and passion for what they do turned our stay into something truly special. If you’re looking for a place filled with charm, comfort, and staff who genuinely care, The Metropolitan Hotel is the perfect choice. Our overnight stay exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend! I wouldn't want anyone else to tour with!! 👻✨🍫
My son and I went to belles grove plantation and it was the best time! We enjoyed everything! Miss V was great! We got a few pictures of something in the windows and I actually started crying which I NEVER would let my son see me cry! It was kinda spooky but awesome at the same time!
